Matte & Neutral Smoky Eye

When feeling like adding a little more drama to your makeup without going over the top with black, gunmetal or bright shadows – try using neutral shadows that match your complexion for a more ‘natural’ looking smoky eye for your night out using the 88 Color Neutral Palette!

Choosing the right colors is important because using the neutrals found in your own complexion will create a more natural ‘shadow’ effect in all the right places rather than have a clear appearance of dramatic makeup. Once you apply the shadow, deepen the look by using the “Shadow” Eye Crayon to fill in the waterlines of the eyes.

- If you have an olive or golden undertone – try using a golden taupe shade all over the lid and a dark brown that have a ‘brick’ like tone on the crease & the lower eyelid.

- If you have a rosy or warm undertone – try using warm beige shades all over your lid and deep beige/brown shades on the crease & lower eyelid.

- If you have a very neutral undertone – try using cooler looking taupe shadows that have a ‘sand’ like tone all over the lid. On the crease and lower eyelid use a dark ‘coffee bean’ brown shade.
