How to get a rose-gold smokey eye

If you have lighter features or fairer skin, sometimes a traditional smokey eye can be a bit too much (not to mention the fact that it's not exactly the best look for daytime). However, rose gold smokey eyeshadow can be a fantastic compromise because it makes your eyes pop without overwhelming your delicate features:

To make sure that you have a smooth canvas to work with, use your fingers to swipe primer across your lids. This will prevent creasing and make sure that your shadow is applied evenly and stays in place all day long.

Next, grab your eyeshadow palette. Begin by sweeping an ivory hue across your lids and upward until it meets your brow. Then, apply a rose-pink color on your lid and in the crease of your eyelids. Finish the look by using a gold or rose-gold shadow and forming an arrow-like shape at the outer edge of your lid and applying it in the crease.

Complete this super easy look by curling your lashes and applying a few coats of black mascara. If you're really in a hurry, all you need to do is sweep rose-gold shadow across your lids and in the creases and throw on some mascara. Voila! The perfect daytime smokey eye.
