In honor of #ThrowbackThursday and our Eyes on the ‘70s Eyeshadow Palette, today we are going to recognize a beauty icon who has stayed fabulous through the years, Pam Grier.

In comparison to the heavy and bold colors of the ‘80s, Pam let her natural beauty shine through in her iconic neutral ‘70s looks.

Eyes- Pam kept her face makeup minimal and focused on highlighting her eyes. To get this look I recommend opting for a neutral shadow and focusing on bold lashes. This can be achieved by layering multiple coats of our Loveable Lash Mascara to lengthen and add volume to lashes, or using false eyelashes to instantly add length and volume.

Lips- Pam highlighted her pout by keeping lips neutral. For this lip look I recommend using a nude lip liner to outline and add definition. For a pop of shine and an extra layer of color, pair the lip liner with your favorite lip gloss.  I recommend sticking with a nude or peach shade to keep a neutral look.

Face- This look does not require a heavy amount of face makeup, just enough to highlight your beautiful skin. I recommend applying pressed powder and layering a light coat of blush or bronzer on top for an added glow.

Let’s not forget another famous beauty icon, Queen Bey, payed homage to Pam Grier with her role as Foxxy Cleopatra in Austin Powers in Goldmember.

Those are our favorite looks of the decade, what are yours? In honor of #ThrowbackThursday share your ‘70s looks with us on Instagram and use #bhcosmetics.

Xoxo,

Jessica
