You may have seen some of these pretty palettes in recent tutorials on my YouTube channel. I have been having so much fun with playing with all the color, I haven’t yet given them the proper review they deserve. This was my first time trying BH Cosmetics and I was definitely not disappointed. The first thing is the colors are both pigmented and buildable depending on the shade, and the price point can’t be beat.

60 Color BH Day & Night Palette: This eye shadow palette covers everything you need for day to day life. The lighter more matte colors, which are organized on one side are perfect for all kinds of day looks, and the darker more shimmery shades on the other side are great for going out at night. The lighter/matte shades are that ones that are the most buildable and the darker/shimmery shades are the most pigmented. I have created countless looks with this palette from simple natural to super smokey eyes, and for $12 you really can’t beat it. If you can only afford one palette, I highly recommend this.

Glamorous Blush Palette: Like the shadow palette I will say, if you are on a budget I recommend getting this 10 color palette. From peach to deep berry, this covers everything you could possibly need for whatever look or skin tone you need to accommodate. The color is pigmented, long lasting and I cannot speak highly enough about it.

10pc. Pop Art Brush Set: I really didn’t know what to expect with this set. So often I have tried inexpensive makeup brushes and been disappointed, but I loved the variety this set offered so I decided to give it a try. Like all of the other products I was pleasantly that these are great for the price point. They distribute color and blend as well as other brushes I have that cost twice as much. The shadow blender with the blue hand is definitely my favorite.

Correcting Eye Primer: This primer does what a primer is supposed to do, it helps the shadow stay put longer and it also makes the color appear more pigmented on the lid. This does both of those things, however I will say it only lasts about 8 hours which works great for me on normal days, just not on long shooting days. They have another primer that is their Studio Pro Primer that may last a bit longer. I am going to probably try that next and I’ll let you guys know what I think.

Overall these products I tried get two thumbs up, great quality at an amazing price! Have you guys tried BH Cosmetics? I’d love to hear what you think! If you create looks with these products tag me on Instagram so I can see!

Hi Dolls!

A few weeks ago I went to Missy Lynn’s launch party for her beautiful new palette with BH Cosmetics! I was excited to leave with a palette and try it out since she’s one of the few YouTubers I know with almost the same complexion as me – her palette is supposed to be amazing on all colors and complexions though! I kept swatching it during the party and was falling in love with the two baked highlighters in the palette but now that I’ve actually dug into the colors too, I just loveee all of it!! I have a full face tutorial for you guys today using it, let me know what you think!

BH Cosmetics

I am asked often about my makeup and what products, palettes, and brushes I use. BH Cosmetics is definitely one of my go-to brands for my everyday makeup. All their products are super affordable and they always have gorgeous packaging! Today I’ll be showing you some of my favorite palettes and brushes from BH that are my go-to’s.

First are these three amazing new palettes from BH. (I’ll go into more depth as you scroll through the photos.) These three palettes get the job done wether you’re doing a neutral eye, a smokey eye, contouring, highlighting, you name it and these three palettes can do it.

My everyday eye look is created using the new MakeupbyMandy24 palette. It has 6 gorgeous neutral colors and it also comes with an eyeliner pen. If you’re looking for a palette to do a neutral eye and also to give you that perfect winged eyeliner then this palette has you covered! I love how creative BH got with this palette by putting an eyeliner pen [instead of a brush, which we all have millions of] inside the palette. Usually when I get a brush from a palette I hardly use it because I have a million other brushes, so that’s why I really like this palette because you definitely get full use out of the whole thing AND it’s less than $10! That’s insanely cheap for a palette you would be able to use every day.

My next everyday palette is the Wild Child eyeshadow palette. This palette comes with 6 metallic colors, some dark and some light. With this palette I usually create a dark brown smokey eye or I brighten my eyes up with the coral and pink. There are a million eye looks you can create with this palette but those are the two main looks I do.

I seriously love the name of this palette, Forever Nude. So cute right?! Love it! Besides the name, this palette really does it all for your highlight and contour. I love how the contour shades are more of a grey undertone instead of an orange undertone because the hollows [shadows] of your checks are naturally more grey/brown rather than orange. In this palette there’s also a yellow shade for your under eye highlight, and a highlight shade for the tops of your checks. Seriously I am in love with this palette! I’ve never found anything else that is as affordable as this palette and that has everything needed for highlighting and contouring.

Lastly are these AMAZING brushes. I don’t know how I was living without these. They make putting on foundation, powder, and eyeshadow so much easier! I love my beauty blender, but when I want more of a coverage I use these brushes.

what’s in the box?!?

I am a HUGE fan of BH Cosmetics baked eye shadows, so when I received this package I was ecstatic! Their Galaxy Chic palette was already one of my favs (check out my Fall Glam tutorial on youtube using that palette) and I think these new palettes will be my new favorites as well. All swatches below, and all swatches on my blog, are applied without a base. Color payoff is always greater with a base, so I like to swatch without so that you can see the payoff straight from the pan. All of these palettes are currently on sale for $9.95.

They also included some of their 3-in-1 Blooming Radiance Mineral Foundation Powders. You can use them to conceal, set, or as foundation. There is a hint of shimmer in the powder though it may not be visible in the swatch, with the purpose to make the skin look ‘radiant.’ The best part is all of their shades are currently on sale for $7.50, so you could easily stock up on a few and still spend less than you would for one shade of an expensive brand!

Lastly, a double-sided brow highlighter in matte and shimmer, self explanatory. This jumbo pencil is also currently on sale for $7.95!

All of these items can be purchased at Makeup looks with the baked shadows will be posted on my Instagram page really soon! :)

My Top 5 BH Products

When I was first getting into makeup, BH Cosmetics was one of the first brands I played around with. The vibrant palettes that contained every color of the rainbow were a feast for both the eyes and for the makeup junkie. One couldn’t resist! Over the years I’ve had the pleasure of trying out more than just their palettes. Listed below are five favorites I’ve rounded up– I hope you enjoy!

Flawless Brow Trio

This is my go-to everyday brow product. The palette comes with two brow powders, a wax, and a handy dual ended brush. When I say this thing will not budge on your brows, I mean it! No eyebrow gel is necessary because you already have the wax, but even without the wax the powders won’t slip and slide.

10 Piece Eco Brush Set

Some of my favorite Holy Grail brushes are part of the 10 Piece Eco Brush Set. The angled powder brush is the perfect shape for contouring while the fluffy blending brush is ideal for packing on your transition color in the crease. You also get a cute case so you can travel with your brushes too!

Creme Luxe Lipsticks

If you have dry lips, you need these lipsticks in your life. These are incredibly pigmented, non-drying lipsticks that glide easily onto the lips and last throughout eating, drinking, talking, etc. My favorite color is Tea Time!

Professional Blush Palette

Blush lovers, rejoice! BH Cosmetics always does a good job at making first impressions, and this blush palette is no exception. Immediately upon opening the palette you get 10 stunning blush colors, from bright pinks to deeper mauves. There is literally a color for everyone!

Wild at Heart Baked Eyeshadow Palette

Last but definitely not least, I had to include an eyeshadow palette because after all, that was the first makeup product I ever tried from BH. The Wild at Heart Palette stole my heart from the beginning not only for its eye-catching packaging, but also because the colors are so vibrant and bold. You can use these wet for a more intense look or dry for a more subtle look.

BH Cosmetics – Sculpt & Glow Palette

Hi loves! I just wanted to go on here really quick and share with you guys my new favorite makeup product from BH Cosmetics! This is their Sculpt & Glow (highlighting/blush/bronzer) palette in light/medium. They also have another color for medium to deep skin tones in medium/deep. When I purchased this palette it retailed for $11.95 which is not a bad price for a whole face product. Usually if you buy each of these separately they will cost you around $5 and up.

Let me just say, I am in love with this palette! I have been using it everyday, it’s perfect for a day or night out. Super easy to blend and it gives the perfect glow that every girl wants!

This palette comes with 2 highlighting shades, 1 blush, and 2 bronzers.

First highlight is called Soft Light, it’s a satin to matte finish and it’s for highlighting and setting you under your eye concealer and the second highlight is called Exposed, this is my favorite pan in the palette! It gives you that beautiful glow to your cheekbones. Very pigmented as well! And it looks great when taking photos or video! It gives you that gorgeous pearl finish.

The pinky-peach blush is called Blushing and this goes with any kind of makeup whether it’s a simple natural look or a smokey-eye look.

The last 2 pans in the palette are bronzers that give a matte finish. The lighter bronzer color is a little more warmer tone than the second bronzer that is more darker color, neutral tone. Both are matte finished. Sometimes I like to mix up these colors together so it won’t be too light or too dark. If you’re going to use the dark bronzer I would suggest to use a lighter hand, because it’s very pigmented. Also if you want a more sculpt look you can definitely use the darker shade to deepen the whole look.

All in all, this palette is amazing. as I mentioned earlier it is super pigmented and very smooth and blendable, I am very happy with it, once I run out I would immediately purchase another one! I think this palette is also great for anyone who is starting out and experimenting on makeup and if they are not sure which shades fits best for their skin tone, they can definitely try this out since BH Cosmetics gives you 2 options in light to dark colors.

You can check out this product and any of their other products at for more info.

Hope you guys enjoyed this post! Also, please stay tuned I will be doing a mini tutorial on my youtube channel because I have been getting a lot of questions lately on where or how to apply all this together!

BH Cosmetics Forever Nude Sculpt & Glow Contour Kit Palette & Creme Luxe Lipsticks | REVIEW + SWATCHES

Hello everyone! Today I will be sharing with you a review about two products from BH Cosmetics, and as I told you in the first review with the brush set, I don’t want you to think my opinion about these products is fake, I will never talk about a product and recommend it if I don’t thinks it’s good or worth a try. Now, let’s get started with the review!

The first product is this Contour, Highlight & Blush Palette called the Forever Nude Sculpt & Glow Palette, I have the Light/Medium color. I really like this product because the pigmentation of the colors is really great, it comes with a matte and a shimmery highlighter, a blush and two contour shades. The price of this palette is $11.95 on the BH Cosmetics website. I think this would be great for a starting makeup artist, it’s a great dupe for all the contour palettes out there, great for someone who is starting to build up their makeup kit because it’s affordable and it has a very nice quality.

Now, these lipsticks are the Creme Luxe lipsticks, I have 3 nude shades. They are $3.95 on the BH Cosmetics website, they have a creamy texture very similar to the Max Factor lipsticks, they are hydrating and they have quite a good color selection, I like them because they are easy to apply, and they last a very good amount of time on your lips.

BH Cosmetics Dark Rose Palette – Review and swatches

BH Cosmetics were kind enough to send me some of their great products for a review, and one of the eyeshadow palettes that I got was the Dark Rose Palette.

This beautiful palette contains 12 shadows with cool and warm tones. Most of them are matte shadows, but there are a few that have shimmer in them. You also get 3 blushes that you can use as eyeshadows as well, and a black super durable liquid eyeliner.

The quality of these shadows is very good, they are very pigmented and creamy, easily blendable and I experienced no fallouts.

The liquid liner that comes with the palette is super black and waterproof, I literally had a hard time taking it off, so if you like eyeliners that don’t smudge, and last all day, this one is definitely for you.

This palette is very versatile , you can create a wide range of looks with it from a dark smokey eye , to a romantic or a neutral everyday look. Here is one look that I did using this palette-

The packaging is beautiful, its made of cardboard, with magnetic closure, and the only downside is that it doesn’t come with a mirror.

As for the price, it’s $24.95, but they currently have a sale and you can get this palette for just $12.95 on their website – , so its also affordable. Overall I love BH Cosmetics, their products are always great quality and affordable.

Here are the swatches, I arranged them according to the rows in the palette:

Bottom line

I personally really love this palette, I love the fact that those shadows are of a great quality, they don’t fade after a few hours like some more expensive shadows do,but yet they are affordable, so if you like those colors (I definitely do!), do not hesitate, go to and order your palette!

BH Cosmetics’ Fan Spotlight featuring MUA Juliasallure

Hi beauties!

BH Cosmetics was kind enough to send me their three new Baked Eyeshadow Palettes. If you don’t know who BH Cosmetics are, they are an online cosmetic shop that sells good quality makeup and accessories for low prices. You can buy these palettes on their website here. The prices are very low considering the quality you are getting and to top it off they are always having sales and discounts on their items. These palettes all retail for $19.95 each but they are now on sale for only $11.95. Pretty amazing!!!

The packaging is really cute and sleek and each palette has a different theme. There is the “Wild Child” palette, the “Wild & Free” palette and the “Wild at Heart” palette. I love the names and the overall look of these palettes. As written on the packaging these shadows are all baked. Baked shadows usually have a much more intense and vibrant pigmentation. These definitely do not fall short and are actually ALL quite amazing. (you will see soon with the swatches)

I just love how colorful and fun these palettes are. They’re compact enough that traveling with them would be a breeze and they also come with a big mirror which is always a plus. There are 9 shadows in each palette. They are all highly metallic and extremely pigmented!

Wild Child

(no primer used for any of these swatches)

Wild & Free

Wild at Heart

As you can see the pigmentation is just out of this world. I did not use a primer – they are applied completely dry. You can even amp up the pigmentation by applying these colors wet, even though you don’t even have to. I am so impressed with the quality of these baked shadow palettes. They honestly look like pressed pigments and for the price it’s a complete steal. If you’re in the market for some intensely pigmented metallic shadows, definitely pick these up.
