Coralicious Prom Eye

Prom Season is here and now!  To help you plan the perfect look, we have created a soft and sweet Coralicious Prom Look.  This Coralicious Look is the perfect compliment to a wide range of colors for Prom dresses, including colors from yellow to golds and pinks to lilacs and blues, even teals and greens!  Alternatively, it will add a pop of color if your wearing black or silver.

 Coralicious Prom Eye Instructions:

1. Start by priming the eyelid with BH Eye Primer.

2. Using a small shadow brush, like the one in our 10 Piece Deluxe Makeup Brush Set, take the white frost color from the top tray of the 120 Color 3rd Edition Palette and fluff on brow bone, inner lid and inner eye corners.

3. Next, using the medium shadow brush from the 10 Piece Deluxe Makeup Brush Set, sweep the hot peach matte tone from the top tray of the 120 Color 3rd Edition Palette slightly above the outer crease, softly blending upwards.

4. With the angled liner brush from the 10 Piece Deluxe Makeup Brush Set, line and smudge the lower lash line with the dark matte brown shade from the bottom tray of the 120 Color 3rd Edition Palette.

5. Using the same dark matte brown color from step 4, take the small shadow brush and blend a small “V” shape into the outer crease, tapering softly and fading it into the middle of the crease.

6.Add the BH Eye Crayon in “Shadow” to your upper lash line from inner to outer corner, making sure to tap the pencil between your upper lashes to pop the lash line.

7. Apply Mascara and your favorite lashes.

8. Dance the night away!

Color Of The Year: Emerald Eye Tutorial

Emerald, the Color of the Year according to Pantone, is a gorgeous jewel tone that can make your eyes pop!  Try this simply stunning look on your next Date Night or Girls Night Out.

Tutorial for Emerald Eye:

Step 1: Begin by applying the Gel Eyeliner in ‘Lake’ or ‘Forest’ as the base of eye shadow for a more intense green tone and longer lasting pigment with no creasing!

Step 2: The only shadow you need to complete this cool tone smoky eye is the 120 Color Palette 2nd Edition – bottom tray.

Step 3: Highlight the brow bone and inner corners using the shimmery creme or white shade and the Angled Shadow Brush.

Step 4: Apply the Emerald shimmer shadow all over the lid using the Contour Blending Brush.

Step 5: Blend out the color using a matte taupe shadow and a Blending Brush. Using a more neutral shade slightly darker than your skin tone will help for the bright shadow to blend more naturally with your skin.

Step 6: Apply the matte black shade into the outer corners and crease using the Smudge Brush and blend!

Step 7: To finish off this look, line the eyes using the Gel Eyeliner “Onyx” and apply a hefty coat of mascara!

by Merli of MissMerylinNYC

As everyday women we are often pulled in a dozen different directions all at once, and we are always expected to look the part. Who wants to carry a heavy sac of makeup to change from office to an evening look that is simple to do but that makes a dramatic difference. All it takes is three in the morning and adding two at night, one lipstick, one liner and mascara.
Day Look Instructions:
1. Prime your lids using the eye and lip primer – I love double duty products

2. From the Night side add the light bronze shadow to your lid up to your crease

3. From the Day side add the light colored shimmer neutral shade over the entire lid
4. From the Night side use the matte brown and a crease brush to create depth
5. Finish off with brown liner and mascara and you’re set for your day
6. Don’t forget your brows define with Automatic Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Brunette and highlight with the neutral shadow matching your skin tone.
7. Add your favorite highlighter blush
8. apply your favorite nude lipstick or gloss
Night Look
To go from day to night is simple all you need is a great black liner and two more colors and a coat of mascara and you’re done.
1. On the Night side pack on the beautiful violet color to your lid up to your crease

2. Using a crease brush utilize black matte color on the Night side and create a V on the outer corner of your eye bringing in three quarters of your eye.

3. Using your black eye liner create a thin to medium line across your eyelid and in your water line (lower lid)
4. apply one more coat of mascara to darken your lashes
5. reapply your favorite nude lipstick
Final night Look, your all done and ready to dazzle!
