1) Pale Peach – I chose to go with a pale peach lip color because it’s soft, classy yet still adds a nice pop of color to the face. You can intensify or lighten this color to the desired shade that matches your complexion best by using the white lip color found in the upper corner of the lip palette. Mix gradually into the bright color (of your choice) until the desired shade is achieved.

2) Orange Ombre – Yes, orange. It’s not a far stretch from the hot tangerine and coral lip colors so popular today and can add a really nice touch to the lips, putting a twist on the classic red lip look. I decided to have some fun and created an “ombre” effect with this lip color by using the white and red colors from the lip palette.

Fell asleep under the sun? Or maybe you forgot to re-apply your SPF? Well, if you have a party to attend to or a photo shoot in the near future and you’re stuck with a red face, you need to know the right tips & tricks to nicely cover up a sunburn with makeup. Here are 3 things to remember when you want to hide that burn:

First, you want to remember that your face is sun burnt. This may sound obvious, but I am emphasizing it, because it is important. You don’t want to go handling your skin harshly. The skin is damaged, and you need to be gentle. Applying aloe vera gel right after the burn will help skin to heal.

Next, apply a primer, like our Foundation Primer, to smooth out your skin. It will also make your face makeup last longer during the warm weather. While applying any kind of makeup, you need to use a soft non-latex sponge or brush with very soft natural bristles for application. To conceal the sunburn, you may want to use a high coverage concealer that evens out skin tone. Be gentle. After your skin is smooth, even, and back looking like it’s usual self, you will want to contour and highlight. Our Contour and Blush Palette is excellent for this. Blue Eyes: Try playing with light coral or peach tones for the 120 Color Eyeshadow Palette 5th Edition. The contrast will immediately make the blues in your eyes appear brighter. Now that the summer tanning season has arrived, bronzing will become a daily routine for many to maintain the summer glow. You can easily fake your bake by using bronzers!

Bronzers can be used for shading the face as well as applying lightly to add some color and glow. If shading, use a medium size face brush and apply the bronzer directly under the cheek bone, temples and if you’d like, down around the jaw line for more defined features.
