Sales Director- Inside & Outside

BH Cosmetics is seeking an experienced Director of Sales to head its growing wholesale department. BH Cosmetics has been acknowledged as one of the fastest growing private companies in the US and currently operates out of North America and Europe, with distribution partnerships throughout the globe. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a comprehensive, multi-year strategy to grow multi-level distribution partnerships, both domestically and internationally.
  • Research competitors’ products and promotions, as well as current market trends in the beauty vertical.
  • Generate budgets for B2B marketing, and develop materials including In-Store Display Units and Catalogs. Develop Sample Programs. Incorporate current PR and branded materials into the department.
  • Oversee a growing inside sales team and build an outside sales team. Manage personnel, monitor performance, develop a quarterly strategy, and hire new team members.
  • Proactively manage and service current accounts. Provide clients with information on product launches, samples, and pricing. Distribute new marketing materials. Facilitate order placement from beginning to end.
  • Generate new business leads through cold calling, in-person meetings, and trade shows.
  • Source, develop, and grow domestic and international distributors and retail partners.
  • Maintain a central database for marketing calendars, product launch information, and pricing sheets.
  • Keep accurate accounting and reporting records.
  • Oversee the wholesale website and ensure information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Stay up-to-date on inventory levels and order projections.

Visual Merchandiser

The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for managing the development, presentation and execution of best in class merchandising initiatives in the retail and trade show environment to support BH Cosmetics brand strategies. This position creates corporate, customer, and test merchandising planograms and concepts. This individual works closely with the marketing, product development, wholesale, and other members of the team to design, execute and interpret results that support the need for improved presentation, based on shopper insight, brand strategy and consumer preferences.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Research, conceptualize and develop all store and trade show design and visual merchandising
·        Ensure all point-of-sale materials and merchandising strategies align with business objective and brand guidelines
·        Work with retail partners to fully understand their fixture and signage requirements. Ensure we are fully maximizing our brand message, while ensuring maximum profitability
·        Schedule and lead fit sessions and communicate changes to achieve final fit and construction to meet brand requirements
·        Drive innovation to enhance creative impact and brand experience.
·        Create item codes for all tester unit updates and liaise with global markets to forecast quantities needed for each update
·        Build and maintain retailer assortments for each merchandising update to include accurate position on shelves, products, sku, ELC code, and price
·        Effectively communicate updates on print in-store visuals, in-store fixtures, and product assortments to ensure clear direction of merchandising to the marketing, product development and wholesale staff
·        Collect product samples for new launches and deliver to vendors accordingly
·        Receive quotes from vendors, submit PO requests, and track invoices to ensure all vendors are paid promptly and that all projects are kept within budget
·        Align and deliver to agreed schedules and deadlines

 

DESIRED SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors in visual merchandising or similar qualification with wide professional experience in a comparable position preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the merchandising field (specifically within the beauty industry highly preferred)
  • Proven track record in execution of strategic Visual Plans
  • Experience with various presentation technologies
  • Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign a plus
