We are looking for a passionate social media expert that will help develop, execute and optimize social media strategies. This position is responsible for creating, editing, distributing and optimizing relevant, contextual and personalized content across social media platforms to attract, engage and retain consumers. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for analyzing performance data and making daily changes and optimizations to achieve the company’s marketing objectives.  The role requires excellent strategy, creative and communications skills, both written and verbal.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive social media strategies that align with brand strategy
  • Be the thought leader and expert voice on the ever-changing social media landscape. Monitor trends and industry news in order to make recommendations to senior leadership on how to develop and advance social media capabilities including talent, skills, tools and platforms.
  • Understand BH’s core audience and reach that audience through the careful selection of content with highest potential for engagement and sharing (and be able to coach a team to do the same).
  • Review and approve all content ensuring accuracy and quality
  • Proactively engage consumers online to drive favorable brand conversations. Fully respond to questions, comments and related opportunities with speed and judgment.
  • Work with creative and brand marketing teams for concept development in ongoing and seasonal campaigns
  • Utilize Social Media best practices and provide insights to achieve brand and business objectives
  • Identify KPI’s for ongoing and campaign initiatives—analyze findings based on benchmark goals and apply learnings for future initiatives
  • Ensure the social media team meets company goals

Requirements & Desired Skills:
  • BA Required
  • At least 3 years managing experience managing large social media communities
  • Experience with international beauty/ fashion brands strongly preferred
  • Must be already plugged into social media landscape, aware of trends and be able to continually monitor for emerging platforms and react quickly
  • Demonstrated success in designing and managing social marketing campaigns on Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Pintrest, Google+, Facebook, SnapChat and BH’s dedicated blog
  • Strategic thinker, with strong grasp of major social media platforms and how to apply them to achieve brand goals

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a comprehensive, multi-year strategy to grow multi-level distribution partnerships, both domestically and internationally.
  • Research competitors’ products and promotions, as well as current market trends in the beauty vertical.
  • Generate budgets for B2B marketing, and develop materials including In-Store Display Units and Catalogs. Develop Sample Programs. Incorporate current PR and branded materials into the department.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reponsible for designing technical renderings and engineering all merchandisers, displays and visuals domestically and internationally
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to deliver on-brand and compelling merchandising stories across all points-of-sale
  • Ensure all point-of-sale materials and merchandising strategies align with business objective and brand guidelines
  • Work with retail partners to fully understand their fixture and signage requirements. Ensure we are fully maximizing our brand message, while ensuring maximum profitability
  • Schedule and lead fit sessions and communicate changes to achieve final fit and construction to meet brand requirements
