Even though she was not nominated for any awards at the Golden Globes last night, Reese Witherspoon was still able to steal the show.

Like a number of other A-listers at the awards show, Witherspoon rocked a mermaid-style fishtail gown that hugged her body and flared out at the knees. The deep crimson gown accentuated the curves of the actress's small 5'2" frame, falling completely to the floor. Stars such as Sofia Vergara, Rooney Mara and Kelly Osborne also embraced the curve-hugging trend.

Witherspoon, who presented an award at the show, kept her hair and makeup shockingly simple in comparison to her fancy frock. Her diamond bangles and scarlet red nails added an element of old Hollywood glamour to her ensemble, but her signature blonde locks fell on her shoulders in a tousled, undone look, pleasantly contrasting with her glamourous gown.

She also rocked a fresh-faced makeup palette. No fancy eyeshadow or lipstick trends for this celeb - she let her natural beauty show through with minimal amounts of bronzer, blush and just a touch of eyeliner and mascara.
