Get pretty in purple for spring
Say goodbye to dark hues like black, charcoal and deep gray, as stars are proving bold colors are in for spring when it comes to eye makeup. Gorgeous leading ladies like Selena Gomez and Jessica Alba have been seen strutting their stuff with blue eyeliner and eyeshadow as of late, but it is Kristen Stewart who stole the show with purple.
Stewart enhanced her green eyes during the Kids' Choice Awards with a purple take on the smokey eye. You can achieve a similar fresh style with a few products including black eyeliner, lilac and darker purple eyeshadow and a cream color too.
Glamour magazine reports the first step in this style is to apply the darker purple color on your top lids to the crease lines before rimming your top and bottom lids in the lighter hue. From here, swipe the cream shadow on at your inner corners for a gorgeous glow and then apply a thin layer of black liner on top to create major definition. Finish off the fab spring style with tons of mascara on your top and bottom eyelashes.
