Channel your inner Greek goddess this spring

Bright colors are hot this spring, but wearing a rainbow eyeshadow palette may get kind of old if you do it every day. Luckily, more neutral makeup palettes are also going to be trendy this spring. Channel your inner Aphrodite to rock these shimmery, glowy looks.

Allure Magazine reports that "terra-cotta eyes" are totally wearable for spring. This name may make you think of your mom's flower pots, but fear not - most of these cosmetics are shimmery shades that will flatter nearly any skin tone. Brush this eyeshadow onto your lids and over the crease. Add a bit of black pencil for definition, or mix it with a touch of black shadow for a modest smoky eye. Word to the wise: don't skip bronzer when rocking this look. Balancing out your face is crucial so as not to look washed out by the eye colors.

If you really want that goddess glow, consider a shimmery highlighter or face primer, the magazine recommends. Taupe works well on light skin, while dark skin will glow if the product has a redder brown shade. Keep this product transparent and highlight cheeks, browbones and the high point of your collarbone, if you are wearing a dress, Glamour Magazine recommends.
