Kristen Stewart rose to fame as a vampire lover in the movie trilogy Twilight, and she has not let her campy, punky vibe slip for a second. She kept up with her grunge theme at the MTV Movie Awards, wearing a modern mini-dress, smokey eyeshadow and messy tresses.

The Snow White actress wore a silver minidress with a lightning bolt-like motif of angular yellow, purple and black shapes on it. Her eyeshadow mimicked the shapes on her dress, with the smokey, dark eyeshadow palette coming to a point at the outer corners.

This unique take on the smokey eye can be achieved using a professional makeup palette with shades of mauve, bronze, brown, gray and black. Keep the top eyelid the darkest, but dont forget to line the lower lid with a dusting of brown shadow to give the whole eye a smokey, smoldering effect. Like most bold eye makeup trends, Stewart's look works best with a neutral lip color. She wore a light pink lipstick, but nude or clear lip gloss would work, too.

Stewart wore her long brown locks in a messy, side-swept down-do with a natural looking texture. For more polish, pull yours back and tease just the ends for just the right element of edginess.
