Ke$ha may be known for her face paint and glitter (on the floor and on her body) but the grungy singer glammed up for a recent appearance at the BMI Pop Awards. Keeping her loud, sparkly look toned down, Ke$ha managed to appear retro and glamourous all at once.

Wearing all black, it was Ke$ha's hair and makeup palette that stole the show. With her signature blonde locks in loose, side-swept curls, she pulled off a perfectly vintage look. The silver, sparkly headband she wore like a crown gave her hairstyle a '20s vibe.

Ke$ha's lip palette was surprisingly dark - for her, the black ensemble and the season - but it worked. She wore deep cherry red lips with just enough lip gloss on top to make them look luscious. Her smokey eyeshadow palette was typical Ke$ha, but still a little understated. Her eyes were lined with black eyeliner and accented with gray and black shades. However, her blue eyes stood out thanks to a shimmery ivory eyeshadow that was applied all around the inner corners of her eyes and onto the eyelid.

She finished off her look with plenty of bronzer and her signature nose ring - still Ke$ha!
