"Vampire Diaries" star Nina Dobrev is always stunning, but her recent appearance at the Paley Center for the Media's PaleyFest 2012 may be a perfect look for prom. Teen Vogue Magazine recently broke down how to achieve her cosmetics, including a glossy lip and modern smokey eyes.

To achieve the stunning look, start by hiding any imperfections on your skin using a face primer. Next, apply a glowing bronzer all over your face using makeup brushes. Add a touch of Vaseline on your cheeks to achieve that dewy glow.

According to the fashion experts at Teen Vogue, you should apply a touch of bronzer along your hairline for an even better glow.

Moving on to the eyes, start by applying an eye primer to hold the eyeshadow in place. Next, find a charcoal black shade that also has some shimmer. You may want to pick up a 120 eyeshadow palette for plenty of options. Swipe the color on your eyes up to your crease lines and then rim your bottom lids with black eyeliner using a fine liner brush. For extra shimmer, apply a touch of metallic gold eyeshadow in the corner of your eyes and a bit above the crease line.

Finish off the heavenly makeup using a lip gloss in a pink shade with peach undertones.

Glamour Magazine reports ladies looking for even more drama may want to try using a brighter orange hue - though make sure it's not too over the top for your prom dress.
