Taylor Swift showed off her darker side while attending the Billboard Music Awards recently. The gorgeous singer seemed to have taken her role as songwriter for the soundtrack to "The Hunger Games" seriously, as she was sassy in a floor length red gown with bold cosmetics to match. Swift seemed to have stepped out of her comfort zone and if this change is permanent, we would not be upset.

Swift styled her stunning gown with equally as fierce makeup. The singer and actress played up her perfect pout with a touch of pink lip color with copper undertones. She kept her cheeks fresh with just a touch of blush and seriously enhanced her baby blues with fab eye makeup. Swift first applied black eyeliner on her upper and lower lids and then added a shade of copper eyeliner using a blending brush. The singer, who took home the Woman of the Year Award during the show, finished off her makeup with brown and copper eyeshadow on her upper lids.

The dark cosmetics worked perfectly alongside her stellar statement gown. Swift was the picture of perfection in the high neck sleeveless gown that had a sheer lace bodice adorned with crisscross detailing. The dress transcended at the waist into a flowy red fabric that moved and flowed with her every step.
