Leading lady looks we lust after
When it comes to learning the top trends for holiday parties, ladies shouldn't look any further than their favorite celebrities. From the best hair and makeup styles to the hottest trends in fancy frocks, stars certainly have the upper hand when it comes to scoring fashion-forward styles.
With holiday gatherings in full swing, you may be wondering who you need to be watching, and Seventeen Magazine recently listed the top Hollywood hotties to model yourself after.
For this look, Robb dazzled in a metallic gold strapless gown and she kept the vibes going on her complexion. The actress rocked stunning metallic gold eyeshadow on her top lids mixed in with a funky tangerine tone. The combination helped her eye makeup pop.
She stayed true to the warm style by rimming her lids in a shimmering chocolate brown eyeliner and a touch of cream shadow at her inner corners for a gorgeous glow. Because her peepers were the stars of the look, Robb kept her cheeks simple, opting for shimmering peach blush on the apples of her cheeks. The actress enhanced her lips wearing a light pink gloss.
This style is perfect for ladies rocking gold this holiday season, or even for girls trying to dress up that LBD.
For lips, start by lining them in a matching color to the lipstick and fill the lips in with the product as well to help it stay in place. Next, swipe on the lipstick beginning in the middle of your lips and moving out toward the edges. Feel free to dab your pout with a tissue to remove any imperfections and then swipe on a second coat.
To get the perfect Hollywood eyes, start by swiping on the brown eyeshadow on your top lids up to the crease lines and a bit out past your brow lines at the outer corners. Next, take the eyeliner and rim your eyes, making it fuller on top to create a modest smokey eye. Complete the look with either multiple coats of mascara, or by applying false lashes.
Add even more to your look by styling your hair with an exaggerated side part and beautiful barrel curls.
The makeup begins with a nude lipstick in a gloss finish for a modest amount of shine. You'll also want to keep your cheeks simple - a quick swipe of a matte peach product will be divine. The eyes are the main event of this look so you'll need a few products including eyeliner and charcoal-toned shadow.
Start by applying the dark eyeshadow on your top lids up to the crease lines and a bit out past your brow lines at the outer corners. Then rim your lids in the black eyeliner and use a makeup brush to blend the liner in with the shadow on top. Add a bit of lightness to the look by way of shimmering cream or light silver eyeshadow at the inner corners and then finish up using volumizing mascara.
Pair the look with your hair slicked back in a high bun.
