She is the girl on fire, and Jennifer Lawrence was certainly smoldering at the recent premiere of The Hunger Games movie in London. Lawrence, who plays leading lady Katniss Everdeen, wore a regal gold gown with smokey, smoldering makeup. Co-star Elizabeth Banks, who plays the flamboyantly dressed Effie Trinket, seemed to channel her character as well, wearing a bright citron gown with ephemeral eyeshadow and pink lip gloss.

According to People Magazine, Lawrence's dress took more than 800 hours to make because of the intricate gold design all over. If her dress wasn't reminiscent of her heroine character enough, her eye makeup certainly was. With black eyeliner, just a hint of a cat-eye and soft pink shadow, the actress's makeup palette was simple yet sassy.

Banks kept her cosmetics on the tame side too, especially compared to her character's. To off-set her eye-popping dress, the actress wore minimal eyeliner on the outer corners of her eyes with a soft pearly pink shadow. She finished the look with plenty of blush and bronzer and a natural-looking pink lip palette.
