One of the biggest problems in tropical destinations is the heat and humidity. These face-melting conditions may make you want to skip foundation altogether, which is totally fine for hitting the beach. However, there are ways to rock your favorite makeup palettes. Teen Vogue recommends using a face primer to stop your sweat from seeping through your foundation.

Keep your eye makeup palette in place by using a waterproof base under your powder eyeshadow. After applying the colors, set the look with a translucent powder.

Cosmopolitan reports that you can even keep your lips in line south of the border. If you have a cooler, pop cosmetics in there while you're out on a picnic or at the beach. Or, opt for a lip gloss with a wand instead of a meltable lipstick.
