Party looks to try out this holiday season

Christmas is almost here and that means New Year's Eve celebrations are just around the corner. If you've been rushing around trying to find the best gifts and outfits to wear for your upcoming fetes, you might have forgotten something - what makeup trends to rock. Ladies with this dilemma are in luck, as Savoir Flair Magazine recently discussed ways for fashionistas to look fabulous in a flash.

Perky cheeks
Perhaps one of the easiest ways to transform your overall look in an instant is with the perfect blush. Flushed cheeks offer ladies a way to look like they just played around outside in the snow, without actually doing so. Try finding a light pink cream-based blush and swipe it on the apples of your cheeks, moving it up and out toward your temples for a natural glow. Pair the sweet cheeks with a similarly toned lipstick. The combo is sure to make your crush swoon.

Liven up your lashes
Eye makeup continues to grow and evolve, and it may be best to take your lashes to new heights this holiday season. The experts at the magazine report using false lashes is all the rage for partying in style and ladies can look stunning by rocking a few extra falsies on top, or going even bolder with extra long and curled options.

Fashionistas who would prefer to rock their own lashes this season can still make them stand out. Start by using an eyelash curler to give them some volume and then swipe on a lash primer to keep the lashes strong and in place. Finally finish with your favorite mascara. Keep your eyes the focus of the look by wearing a gorgeous warm take on the smokey eye using shadows in shades like shimmering gold and light cream.

Two-toned eye makeup
If you'd prefer to enhance your peepers in a more unique way, the two-toned eye makeup style may be the way to go for you. To achieve this dazzling style, first select two complementary colors that also match your ensemble for the night. When you have a perfect combo such as green and blue, pink and purple or green and gold, start by swiping the darker hue on your top lids to the crease lines. Next, apply the lighter hue from the crease lines and up to your brow lines and use a makeup brush to blend the two colors where they meet.

Ladies feeling a bit less daring can opt to rock the main hue on their top lids and then use the secondary color as eyeliner on their bottom lids.
