Jan Sassy makeup trends to try Winter is here and that means many ladies are trying to make big sweaters, boots and chapped lips look stylish. Despite the fact that your morning commute may be a little more annoying than usual, there are a few new makeup trends coming out that might get you excited to head to school or the office, Self magazine reports. Wind-inspired cheeks To make the style look more natural, start by swiping a hydrating cream on your cheeks and then applying a cream-based blush on top. Try dipping your finger in the product and then dotting it directly on the apples of your cheeks, and another one below your pupils. Blend it in large circles. Since the cheeks are meant to be the main event here, keep the rest of your look minimal - a touch of golden shadow on your top lids and a light pink gloss on your lips may be perfect. Revamp your smokey eye To rock this version right, start by using a brown eyeliner to outline your top and bottom lash lines, feel free to use it on the rims if you're looking for a more dramatic style. Next, grab a cocoa-toned eyeshadow and swipe it on your tops lids all the way up to your brow lines. Add a thin line of the same product just under your lower lash lines for a totally stunning glow. When the brown hues are in place, it's time to help yourself stand out using the metallic silver product. Use a Q-tip or a makeup pad to get a bit of the loose silver eyeshadow and then dab it on at your inner corners. The hint of silver against the brown colors will be electrifying. Finish the style by swiping a few coats of volumizing mascara on your top and bottom lashes. Pretty in peach Start on your peepers by swiping on a bit of peach shadow directly in the center of each top lid. Next use a makeup brush to fan it out in either direction. The color will work to effortlessly brighten up your eyes, making them seem much more awake than usual. For the cheeks, a makeup artist recommended finding a peach color that is approximately one shade darker than the hue used for your eyes. The style is meant to go together without being too matchy-matchy. When you find a suitable shade, apply it directly on the apples of your cheeks and then spread it up and out toward your temples for a natural vibe. Finish this gorgeous style with the perfect lips. Any light orange or peach-toned lip gloss or lipstick should work in this look. However, the key to being best is to ensure your lips are well moisturized prior to swiping the product on. There is nothing worse than rocking dead skin mixed in with your lovely peach lips.
