A great way to avoid this issue, while still showing off your love for eyeliner is to switch up your black hue for other colors such as a dark or slate blue, a forest green pencil or even chocolate brown. Add a touch of white shadow onto your inner corners to bring light and a sense of airiness to your eyes. Widen your peepers even more by using an eyelash curler to extend and curl your lashes before swiping on a few coats of volumizing mascara.

Puff up your pout
Unfortunately not all ladies were blessed with full, kissable lips. If your pout seems more deflated than your friends, there are certain tricks to help give the illusion of a fuller pout.

For this trick from makeup pros, you'll need to purchase a colorless lip balm with a touch of shimmer, the publication reports. When you find a suitable product, simply apply it to the skin just above the cupid's bow on your top lid - this is the area between your nose and the peaks of your top lip. Adding a hint of light to this area helps to create the feeling of having larger lips. Tip: Never swipe on a color (red, peach, etc.) to this region.

Bring on the brushes when it comes to cover up
Some ladies out there may buy cover up compacts that come with makeup pads they can use to swipe the product on over their pimples or other imperfections. Even though such pads help to cover up issues, they are not the best tool around, the magazine reports.

The experts at Cosmo instead suggest fashionistas grab a concealer brush to hide any problem areas. This tool tends to work best, as the bristles are better able to get deep into the crevices of a blemish, something your finger or a makeup pad cannot do. When applying cover up using a brush, dip it in the product and then dab it on over a pimple in short, quick motions for the most natural look.
