Wear the right amount of makeup - and not a drop more
Most ladies out there understand the importance of having the right cosmetics, fragrances and clothes to always look their best. However, when it comes to buying these pricey items, most don't understand the amount of each product that should be used daily. Women's Health Magazine recently broke down how much is enough to try and keep costs down.
According to the magazine, most girls use moisturizer, especially in the winter as the dry air can really be harsh on skin. Although some ladies might like to lather their skin with this stuff in order to replenish their faces, the experts report you should only use two peanuts' worth of product to cover your entire face.
Foundation or face primer is another commonly used beauty product. In order to avoid looking like you're wearing foundation, the magazine suggests using no more than a bottle cap's worth of the makeup for your entire face. To avoid going overboard, physically pour out the foundation and then use your fingers or makeup brushes to apply it evenly on your face.
Certain products like eyeshadow are totally put on at your own risk, according to Glamour Magazine. The style experts suggest that ladies get a makeup palette with plenty of options, such as an 88 eyeshadow palette in order to have the right color to match or coordinate with any outfit or hairstyle.
