Be bold with the prefect bright lips

Spring is just a few days away, meaning it's time for ladies to figure out what their signature spring and summer look will be. Whether you're into eye makeup, fun blush or even lip colors, making a statement is a must for 2013.

A great way to figure out your favorite new style is to test out multiple products and looks to see which one is stunning on your complexion. InStyle magazine recently broke down a few of the best bright lip colors ladies might long for as the warm weather starts to set in, and finding a hue that helps you feel sassy is a key.

Peachy-orange
If you have slight tanned skin, than a beautiful and bold color like a peach lipstick with true orange undertones might be perfect. This shade not only stands out, but it will also stand the test of time. The latter idea is an important one, especially if it's hard for you to stray from your every day routine.

You can make this style work for you by pairing it with the right eye and cheek makeup. Since the lips are meant to be the star, it might be most appropriate to rock a sun-kissed product on your cheeks and a warm bronze-based smokey eye on your peepers. This way, your eyes and cheeks will be enhanced, rather than overpowering.

Power pink
Ladies with a lighter complexion going into spring might prefer to turn heads in a show-stopping magenta lipstick, like that worn by models at the recent Diane von Furstenberg runway show. To achieve a similar style at home, you'll need a hot pink or magenta lip pencil and a clear or light shimmering moisturizing lip gloss

When you have the correct products, start the transformation by applying the pencil on your entire pout, beginning at the inner sections and working your way out toward the edges for an even application. Next, dab your lips using a folded tissue and then apply a second coat. Complete the style with just a drop of the moisturizing gloss to help give your pout a perfectly polished finish.

Deep purple
If you're not quite ready to say goodbye to the dark colors that work famously in winter, you don't have to. Instead, take advice from the models at the Jason Wu show, who rocked a mix of deep berry and eggplant lipstick.

The key to keeping this product fun and youthful is to play up the rest of your makeup. Since the lips will be so dark with this style, it's important to lighten up your cheeks with a light pink or peach hue on the apples. Enhance your peepers wearing stunning metallic gold eyeshadow and a deep brown eyeliner on your top and bottom lids.

Pink and tangerine dream
Girls who simply can decide whether to stun in pink or tangerine-toned lipsticks don't have to. Instead, the style experts suggest ladies with this dilemma opt to marry the two hues together. Achieve this unique style by first finding two lipstick shades that will work together in harmony - think of it as color-blocking for your pout!

Next, apply the tangerine hue on your top and bottom lips, starting at the center and working your way out to the edges for the smoothest application. From here, dab your lips with a tissue and then add one more coat of the product. When the tangerine hue is perfectly in place, grab the hot pink color and apply it to just the center of your top and bottom lips, using your fingers to blend it in slightly. This unique style will not only garner attention, but also major style points from everyone you meet!
