According to the fashion pros at InStyle Magazine, nude lipstick is all the rage for day-to-day looks and even on some red carpets. The experts report that the way to rock this trend correctly is to find the right shade to match your complexion.

For ladies with ivory skin, the best shade is a beige-toned lipstick with just a touch of cranberry undertones in a matte finish. Those with fair skin, similar to actress Kristen Bell, should go for a shade of petal pink. This color can look great in a matte or lip gloss finish. Girls with light brown skin need to find a lipstick with orange undertones as it best compliments their skin tone, while ladies with golden skin, like the drop-dead gorgeous Jennifer Lopez, should look for a darker shade with tangerine undertones for a bit of flair.

Glamour Magazine reports that girls who simply need to have more attitude from their cosmetics should try a nude-like tone with some sparkle or shimmer to stand out. Singer Carrie Underwood rocked this style recently, opting for a soft peach lipstick instead of a shade that blended into her lips completely.
