The adorable Elle Fanning recently took a page from vintage Britney Spears, opting for a classic schoolgirl look with a modern twist.

While out and about, Fanning showed off her preppy fashion sense rocking a white sleeveless blouse with a precious collar and a black mini-skirt. She added a pair of knee-high boots to really top off the look. It must have been warm where she was as she decided against wearing tights or a jacket with this ensemble.

The leggy young lady chose to accentuate her sweet look with her long blond hair down in a middle part. She added a two-layer pearl encrusted headband to push the classic preppy style even further. Fanning boosted her getup with some fun and flashy cosmetics. Burgundy red lipstick in a matte finish and bronze cheeks made her look a bit older than her outfit would lead us to believe. She kept her playful eyes youthful with the addition of jet black mascara and a touch of brown eyeshadow.

Wherever she was going, Fanning was looking to have a good time while still staying true to her squeaky clean and wholesome image.
