Emily Blunt certainly knows how to make a statement, showing off bright red cosmetics contrasting a canary yellow dress at a recent Hollywood event.

Mrs. John Krasinski arrived at an Elie Saab dinner rocking bright red lipstick with a lip gloss finish and matching shiny red nails. Blunt was definitely showing off primary colors, with her blue eyes, yellow dress and red cosmetics.

Blunt chose the rest of her makeup wisely, making sure to go minimal in order to really make her lips pop. Her eyes were rimmed with simple black eyeliner and  brightened with a taupe eyeshadow that went out slightly past her eyelash line.

The outfit was classic, with a three-quarter length sleeve and square neckline. The dress hugged her fit figure, coming out slightly at the waist. Blunt made sure to really show off her curves by cinching the dress with a matching skinny belt.

To complete the look, the actress kept her accessories to a minimum, choosing stud earrings, a simple cocktail ring and a black clutch.
