Hayden Panettiere is set to star as a country crooner in her new TV series "Nashville" and the starlet seemed to be playing the part at a recent event. Panettiere pumped up the volume in a flowered mini-dress while attending the 2012 TCA Summer Press Tour.

Panettiere was stunning in her dress and bold makeup. The actress kept her pout the focus, rocking bright red lipstick in a matte finish. She enhanced her adorable cheeks using sun-kissed bronzer and played up her big blue eyes by first rimming them in black eyeliner. She accentuated her peepers even more by way of gold and pink eyeshadow on top. Panettiere finished off the makeup by applying false eyelashes on her top lids for major drama.

The actress chose a playful frock for the event and it worked with her personality. The mini consisted of a red, purple, gray and black flowered pattern and was form-fitting through her hips. The dress then puffed out into a fuller skirt that helped make her waist look tiny. She accessorized the look with sassy nude strappy pumps and her hair down in loose waves.
