If you were a celebrity, perhaps you would want to rock over-the-top eye makeup and bright red lips at every fancy event you go to, but not all of today's stars feel that way. Kristen Bell proved that less is more when it comes to makeup palettes at the recent premiere of Showtime's House of Lies.

The actress sported a short, sparkly frock that showed plenty of leg. With a figure-skater-inspired feel, the gray dress featured a sheer, long-sleeve overlay that was covered with metallic beads. Bell didn't need ice skates to make this look seem as effortless as Michelle Kwan's change-of-edge spiral on the rink.

Bell balanced out her beaded outfit by wearing her signature blonde locks in long, loose curls. Black eyeliner, gold eyeshadow and a sweet shade of coral lipstick seemed to be the actress's stand-out tools as she was getting ready. In addition to eyeliner, her black lashes seemed long and voluminous, framing her baby blues perfectly. This makeup palette was just enough to achieve a natural and gorgeous look for the night.
