dec Never too early for bright eye makeup Neon shades seem to be best-suited for the summer, but there is no need to wait that long to try on the trends that Christian Dior displayed recently on the runway. Allure Magazine reports that makeup artist Pat McGrath used cream shadow in shades of lime green, fuchsia and sky blue on the lids of the models, limiting one hue per face. Bright eyeshadow can be a bit gaudy if not done right. McGrath used black liquid eyeliner along the top lashes to "ground" the look, the news source reports. The models also rocked bright lips with their saturated lids. As with most trends we see on the runway, this one needs a little tweaking to wear in real life. The magazine recommends wearing a brightly-colored eyeliner instead of coating your entire eyelid with a bright color. That way, you have a pop of color without looking like a Rubix cube. You can also use a powder eyeshadow to line the eye, which gives a softer look. It may seem like a lot to add bright red lips to this makeup palette, but certain color combinations are wearable. Try a turquoise eyeliner with a fuchsia-berry lip color, or wear teal eyes with coral or tangerine lipstick, the news source suggests.
