Taylor Swift may be famous for her red lips and curly blonde locks, but the country crooner showed us that she can rock other fabulous hair and makeup ideas when she appeared at the Academy of Country Music Awards recently.

Swift's white-hot floor length gown featured a fierce gold stripe motif at the top and bottom, inviting her to rock smoldering gold and bronze eye makeup - and rock it she did. The singer replaced her signature cat eyes with a sparkly, bronze smokey eye.

Her beautiful blue eyes were lined with black liquid eyeliner on the top lid, and black and gold pencil eyeliners seem to work together to create the shimmery glow under her bottom lashes. The Entertainer of the Year wore a pinky bronze eyeshadow palette that was balanced by a graphite eyeshadow on her top lids. Everything about this eye makeup was blended to perfection, just barely reaching past her crease and the outer corner of her eye with sparkly gold shadow highlighting the inner corners of her eyes. Several individual false lashes must have been added to her flirty fringe to make it really stand out.

Tay Tay also proved she knows how to rock a trend - she kept her blush and bronzer to a minimum and wore a simple nude lip gloss to balance the look.
