Pack perfectly for your summer vacation

Summer vacation is almost here and that means ladies across the nation will be ready to embrace some fun in the sun. Fashionistas heading on vacation during the summer may be concerned about what makeup products to bring with them and which ones should stay at home. Luckily, the fashion experts at InStyle Magazine recently broke down exactly what cosmetics girls need to take with them on vacation.

Foundation

When the weather starts to heat up, so does your face, which can be unpleasant when you're hanging out with that cute guy on the beach with oil covering your entire face. A great way to stop this in its tracks is to bring along an oil-free matte foundation or face primer. This product will work to keep oil slicks at bay, while also hiding any imperfections. Make sure to pack makeup brushes as well to spread the foundation evenly over your skin.

Neutral eyeshadow

When you're on vacation, you'll want to simply enhance your natural good looks, rather than look like you're going out for a night on the town with your girlfriends. Because of this it's best to pack an eyeshadow palette with neutral tones like brown, gold, and cream. If you can't resist being a diva, find a palette with metallic hues for a touch of sparkle.

Water-resistant mascara

Mascara is a staple in most ladies' daily makeup routine and this may be no different on vacation. However, Allure Magazine reports girls should switch out their regular product for a waterproof kind to avoid it breaking down due to the humidity or prevent you from taking a dip with that babe you met.

Makeup case

Packing for vacation can be a real drag, but keeping your makeup neatly stored in a cosmetic bag can put at least one worry out of your mind. Plus, most bags have sections for your different products, so they won't get jumbled up or ruined during the flight.
