The adorable and stunning Kate Hudson rarely takes a bad photo and part of her good looks has to do with her love affair with makeup. While attending an event for the recent Venice Film Festival, Hudson stole the show in some sassy and eye-opening (literally) cosmetics.
Glamour Magazine reports the Hollywood darling looked refreshed and completely pulled together in her white suit and happy makeup. To steal Hudson's fab style you'll need different shades depending on your eye color, as she played up her green eyes using purple - the opposite side of the color wheel. Ladies with green eyes should select eyeshadow and liner in shades of lavender or eggplant, blue eyed beauties need rose, gold and coppers and brown or hazel eyed darlings should look for blues and emerald greens.
Once you have the appropriate color for your eyes it's time to apply. Using green as an example, start by rimming your eyes in black eyeliner, then swipe on eggplant eyeshadow or liner under the black for definition. Use the eggplant hue on top up to your crease lines and then switch to the lighter, lavender color and use that product up to your brow lines. Complete the fab style with tons of volumizing mascara.
Hudson is no stranger to playing with makeup. She recently opened up to People Magazine about her long history with beauty products.
"I remember my mom's [Goldie Hawn] makeup artist, this wonderful, old-time sort of legend in the movie industry, Tom Case, who had one little box he'd carry with him...He’d pull out just four items, and make the most incredible face with those four things," Hudson told the magazine on learning the tips of the trade.
Despite having a fabulous and flourishing career, the actress admitted she still has fun doing her friends makeup before they head out. Hudson said she often does her own makeup for movie premieres and other red carpet events and makes sure the friends she brings with her look just as good as she does.
"I love putting makeup on friends," Hudson told the publication. "I do it all the time. If I'm bringing them to a premiere, or we're having a party, they'll all come over early and I'll do their makeup. I love it."
