Knock your first day of school look out of the park

Going back to school - whether you're a freshman, sophomore, junior or the elite senior - is a time not necessarily to learn, but rather to show off your tan and fab fashion sense. Yes, you'll need to get your syllabus and learn about your new teachers, but doing so in style is a must - especially if you want that cute new guy to notice you.

Seventeen Magazine recently broke down some of the best celebrity-inspired looks that will work perfectly in showing off your best features on the first day of classes.

Emma Watson

Emma Watson may have officially graduated from Hogwarts Academy, but her style is still on point with what teens need to be rocking now. The actress recently dazzled on the red carpet with red lips and girlie blush and you may need to steal this for school.

To rock Watson's style, start by finding a red lip hue with pink undertones, then apply a few layers of gloss for a sassy shine. Watson enhanced her cheeks by swiping on a couple layers of girlie pink blush. Tip: start the application on the apples of your cheeks and then move it upward toward your temples for the most natural feel. Watson went daring with her eyes, she started by rimming half of her top and bottom lids in navy eyeliner - make the look uniform by applying the product from the middle of your pupil and pushing it out to the outer corners on both top and bottom. The actress finished the style with lilac-toned eyeshadow on her top lids.

Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato has been going for the rocker-chic look as of late and if you're into making a bold first impression, she's the girl to emulate. While touring the nation looking for the next stars for " The X Factor USA" Lovato wore some out of this world makeup. To achieve a similar style, you'll need black eyeshadow, black liquid eyeliner and nude lipstick.

Start the look with the eyes, since it has the most detail. Begin by first rimming your top and bottom lids in the liquid eyeliner, then pushing the product well past your brow lines on the bottom lids in a thin line. Next, apply charcoal eyeshadow on your top lids and lighten up a bit by way of gold eyeshadow from your crease lines and up to your brow lines.

Keep your lips simple in this style rocking a touch of nude or light pink lipstick on your pout.

Other starts to keep in mind for style advice this school year include the adorable Taylor Swift, the beautiful Jennifer Hudson and the all-grown-up Dakota Fanning.
