At last night's 21st annual Gotham Independent Film Awards, Charlize Theron stumbled a bit on the red carpet, but was able to make a graceful recovery, according to the Huffington Post. She was given a special tribute award for her extensive career, which may have explained why she nearly tripped with excitement.
Her outfit was the real talk of the town - she wore a white halter and a black drop-waist skirt. Theron accented the outfit with a long gold necklace and simple heels. Her shimmering eyeshadow and bright pink lips make the actress shine even more after she recovered from her near-accident.
Theron may have been the only star to get tripped up on the red carpet, but she was not alone when it came to wowing the crowds with fashion. Like Crazy's Felicity Jones, who is also the newest spokesperson for Dolce and Gabbana, stood out on the red carpet in a mint green designer dress. Her long locks were left down and natural and her bangs were complemented by a bold smokey eyeshadow.
Elizabeth Olsen also made an eye-catching appearance in a flowing, sequined designer gown.
