If you didn't know that wearing rose gold eyeshadow was an awesome way to make your eyes pop, you are in for a pleasant surprise when you open up your 120 eyeshadow palette this week. As demonstrated by Hollywood beauties like Elizabeth Olsen, Emily Blunt and Zooey Deschanel, rose gold is a dressy take on a neutral eyeshadow palette that flatters almost everyone.
Rose gold has been a trendy color since the beginning of the year - it is essentially the perfect blend of gold, pink, peach and beige, making it one of the best new neutrals. When combined with shimmer or sparkles in eye makeup, it is simply ravishing.
To rock the trend like the celebrities, choose a shade of light, pinky gold and apply it to your eyelids using a blending brush. You can mix this shade with champagne and bronze colors too, if you would like to add shadow and dimension to your lids. Once your top lids are covered, use a flat liner brush to apply the rose gold eyeshadow to the area just below your lower lashline so the color lines your entire eye.
You can finish with just a touch of eyeliner on the inner rim of your lashline and plenty of mascara.
