In the warm, sunny months of summer, achieving glowing skin is easy. However, as the temperatures drop and we spend less time outdoors during the winter, this look can be trickier. But it is not impossible. According to Glamour Magazine, there are a number of ways to make your skin glow even without a tan.
Bronzer is key to the sunkissed look, the magazine reports. Just be careful not to go overboard. Look to stars like Jennifer Aniston for some direction on what is just enough. For the most natural look, try applying bronzer with a brush around your hairline, down the bridge of your nose, across your forehead, cheeks and chin.
But bronzer is not the only thing that will make your skin glow. Sparkly eyeshadow goes a long way in making the rest of your skin look radiant because of its reflective properties, according to Glamour. To get the good effects of glitter without looking like a disco ball, apply it to just the lids and leave the rest of your makeup relatively natural.
A shimmery powder that you can dust over your shoulders, neck and face will also make your skin glow because it catches light. However, be careful not to overdo it - only apply this powder to spots that naturally stick out, such as cheekbones and collarbones.
