Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2013 is in full swing and many of the top designers are not only showing off their new lines, but also some fabulous makeup trends. One of the most dramatic styles comes from legendary designer Jean Paul Gaultier.
During his recent runway show, the models were decked out in funky ensembles and intense smokey eye makeup. To rock a similar style, you'll first need to pick up black eyeshadow, black liquid eyeliner, mascara and a metallic silver shadow.
Start on top by swiping the black shadow on thick a bit past your crease lines, and spread it out past your brow lines into a point. Next, use a makeup brush and spread the shadow underneath your bottom lids, connecting it with the point on top for a triangle style. From here, take the liquid liner and rim your top and bottom lids with it to create a shiny look. When your eyes are ultra dark, apply a touch of the silver shadow at your inner corners for a pop of shimmer.
With such dramatic eye makeup, you don't need to wear much else. The models at the show donned a light peach lip gloss on their pouts and kept their cheeks natural.
