Face Makeup Tricks & How-To's (285)
Chanel is wild about pink

Paris Fashion Week is well underway and some of the most powerful designers in the world have been showing off all of their hard work. Chanel is synonymous with classic style and helping women feel chic, though this year, the brand opted for a bit more fashion-forward makeup trends. Pink seemed to be the color of the moment during the powerhouse's recent runway show and ladies daring enough to try the look at home are sure to stand out.

"It's pink makeup," the show's makeup artist told regarding the models' bold looks. "[But] it's between girly and rebel."

Ladies wanting to rock a similar look will need to begin by purchasing matte or cream pink eyeshadow, eye primer, pink blush and light pink lipstick.

The eyes
The models' eyes were certainly the showstopper of the entire face, as the dramatic style definitely made a statement. To achieve the look, start by applying eye primer on your top lids up to the brow lines, then swipe the product on your bottom lids as well. Wait between one and two minutes for the primer to set and then go to town applying the pink eyeshadow on your entire top lids up to the brow lines. Spread the product out a bit past your brow lines for a more enhanced look. Next, use the same hue and apply it under your bottom lashes as well, connecting the color at the inner and outer corners of your eyes with the top application. The color is all you'll need to look different - refrain from any other products including mascara, eyeliner or false lashes.

The cheeks
Keeping with the pink theme, next it's time to apply the girlie-toned blush on your cheeks. Start on the apples of your cheeks and the spread the product out and upward toward your temples for the most natural effect. Feel free to mix in a peach-toned product as well to soften it up a bit.

The lips
The lipstick choice in this style is almost the natural color of the models who wore it. When emulating the look, try to find a light pink or peach lipstick that closely matches your natural lip hue. The models did get a bit of an enhancement by way of a layer of clear gloss acting as the top coat on their perfect pouts.
