Face Makeup Tricks & How-To's (285)
Makeup that's suitable at the gym

Let's face it, heading to the gym can be the worst for most fashionistas. Not only do you need to wear less than stylish clothing, but you probably have to refrain from wearing your favorite eye makeup or lipstick due to sweating. This dilemma may be real, but Cosmopolitan Magazine recently discussed certain makeup that can be worn at the gym, making breaking a sweat that much more glamorous.

Oil-free foundation
There is no doubt that ladies will be sweating during their trips to the gym, which is why it's important to think about the products they wear on their faces. You should look for products that are oil-free, as these types of cosmetics allow the skin to breathe. Using such products can help limit how much makeup smearing occurs and how many breakouts you get.

Go in glowing
Being flushed can be cute if your crush gave you a compliment or if a bit of playful flirting occurred, but glowing bright red due to a long run is not nearly as charming. A great way to be proactive about this problem is to go into the gym with a touch of product on your cheeks, the news outlet reports.

To achieve the perfect complexion for the gym, start by grabbing a powder-based blush in a light pink or even peach tone - try to find a product that contains zinc oxide and titanium oxide as these components are naturally water-resistant. If possible, avoid cream blushes, as many of these options contain oils that can block your pores. When you find a suitable shade, swipe it on the apples of your cheeks and spread it out and up toward your temples for a natural glow.

Keep imperfections concealed
There is nothing worse than having to take off your concealer for the gym and exposing your recent outbreak. A great way to have your cake and eat it too is to look for a concealer that contains acne-fighting components like salicylic acid. This way, you'll be able to hide your pimples on all occasions, while working to make it go away. Don't have a concealer with salicylic acid? No problem, simply apply a touch of acne-fighting solution beforehand and then dab on your go-to concealer for a similar effect.

Other gym makeup must-haves include setting your makeup using a face spray that helps keep your products in place and using waterproof mascara to keep the product from running down your face.
