I've had this brush (along with many others from BH) for over a year and a half. The design of the handle is sturdy and clean, just the right thickness to get a good hold on the brush. The bristles individually are soft and comfortable, but in this brush I believe that they're too tightly packed. It's very hard to use this brush on my eyes without it removing some of the product. Even with very light pressure, it doesn't function well as an eyeshadow smudging brush. HOWEVER, I have found that this makes a pretty good concealer brush. I use it to pack on concealer over scars and imperfections, and use the tapered edges on an angle to get a bit more precision. Overall, I wouldn't reccommend this to a friend or client because it's quite difficult to use.

its a very useful design and different brush that i have never seen before.Great for all types of uses, i mainly use it for all different crease work.I have nearly of their products & have not been dissapointed at all.so affordable and so much better quality than some of the high brand products.I even had to buy extras as everyone tries to borrow & keep them.

This soft, dense brush can be used for it's intended purpose, however it is much bigger than a traditional "smudge" brush. Because of it's size, I don't use it to smudge eyeliner, but rather powder and cream contour down the sides of the nose. It is great for applying and blending cream shadows. I have found it's stiffness is especially useful for "stiff" eyeshadows, that are sometimes hard to pick up from the pan. When placed over a very good primer, I can get the full effect of my less expensive eyeshadows without a whole lot of extra effort. This brush is not scratchy and easy to clean. You will definitely need more than one in your tool kit.
