A-list stars stand out at the Tony Awards

Drama, theatrics and musical numbers are likely the key things that come to mind when most people think about the annual Tony Awards. The event, which honors and celebrates the best in plays and musicals, was invaded by a slew of Hollywood's finest and many stars, like Anna Kendrick, Scarlett Johansson and Sienna Miller, were a cut above the rest in terms of fashion.

Their gorgeous yet unique ensembles and makeup trends are certainly some to consider whether you're headed to a wedding or another formal occasion this summer.

Anna Kendrick
Kendrick is one leading lady who actually started out as a stage actress on Broadway as a child. She's since become a mega star thanks to her hit roles in "Up in the Air," "50/50" and "Pitch Perfect," but was more than happy to honor the fabulous place where it all began for her. Even though she's transformed into a film actress, Kendrick made sure to go for major drama with her ensemble and makeup for the big event.

The actress dazzled in lighter blonde locks and pumped up the volume by way of her eye makeup. The pretty star enhanced her light brown eyes by first applying navy eyeshadow on her top lids up the crease lines and then swiping on a shimmering cream shadow at her inner corners. Next, Kendrick rimmed her top and bottom lids in metallic navy eyeliner, pushing it out past her brow lines for a stunning and electrifying look. Kendrick, being a modern fashionista, knew well enough to keep the rest of her makeup simple so as not to overpower her gorgeous eyes. Instead, she opted for a light pink lipstick on her pout and a subtle application of matte bronzer on her cheeks.

Kendrick's fab complexion looked elegant with her fantastic frock. The actress donned a navy silk gown that boasted a sweetheart neckline, side cutouts and ruche detailing.

Scarlett Johansson
Known for her bombshell looks, Johansson did not disappoint when it came time to present at the New York City awards show. The gorgeous blonde chose to accentuate her best facial feature – her perfect pout – wearing a deep red lipstick hue with burnt orange undertones in a glossy finish.

The stunning blonde added even more sass to her complexion by rocking a light golden hue on her naturally high cheekbones, starting at the apples and spreading up and out toward her temples for a perfect pop of color. She enhanced her peepers wearing the best eye makeup for green eyes, including pretty metallic orange eyeshadow. Johansson then swiped on a light layer of shimmering cream shadow at her inner corners to brighten up her eyes before rimming the top lids in a thin layer of black eyeliner.

The stellar style worked wonders with her anything but boring LBD. Johansson's frock featured a cheetah print lace neckline, gentle ruffles and major leg. She paired the feminine frock with a more masculine black blazer.

Sienna Miller
Always the free spirit, actress Miller kept with her flowy and free attitude during this big event. The actress was at the awards show to support her fiance and baby daddy Tom Sturridge who was up for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Play for his role in the show, "Orphans." Despite an attempt to take a backseat to the limelight, Miller's natural beauty still stole the show on the red carpet.

The gorgeous blonde wowed wearing a true raspberry lipstick in a matte finish on her pout as well as pretty sun-kissed bronzer on her cheeks, helping to warm up her usually fair complexion. Miller accentuated her bright blue peepers wearing soft pink shadow on her top lids and then rimming her lids in thin black liner.

The ultra feminine style looked fabulous with her pretty in pink gown and matching floral headpiece.
