4.8 / 5.0408 ReviewsAdds a sheer coverage with a hint of colorI've gotten 240 and 250 in the past. My 240 is just about gone (I use that when I don't have my late spring-to-summer color and just i'm breaking into my 250 I bought almost 16 months ago. I just repurchased 250 and will repurchase 240 in mid-Fall. I use 240 September thru April. And I use 250 May thru August. These have replaced my Maybelline Matte+Poreless powder, my MAC skinfinish powder, L'oreal powders....everything lol.
I use these alone sometimes when I don't have makeup because it's pretty good at sucking up oil for a few hours.
If it matters or helps I also use 'Warm Tan' in the Blooming Radiance Mineral Powder Foundation. MAC girls I'm an NW43 mix with a little NC45 (sometimes mix NW43 with a little NC50 in the summer), Caramel 400 for Combination-to-Oily in Revlon (w/ a touch of Cappuccino in summer), Estee Lauder 460W or 470C, L'Oreal i've worn C7 or N7 or 111-Soft Sable.January 19, 2016Blends WellThe powder along with the primer with anti shine was a good combination.I am African American with oily skin. I was very happy with this powder.January 16, 2016Accurate colorI'm 50 :) I have a few fine lines and dry skin. Yes it's true. I doesn't collect in lines of any sort, on my face. I meant something by the review headline. I have been using NYX HD loose powder. I inhale more of the powder through my nose than what goes on it! It flys around everywhere. I feel like Pigpen on Charlie Brown! It's grainy & too too fine. To me, if it feels like nothing, it's nothing. I like full coverage foundation and powder. This product goes on even and blends out. I give my face a shot of matte setting spray. Done! Good by itself also. It's a like, like!April 10, 2016Controls ShineAt first I didn't plan to buy this powder, I was more interested in buying eye shadow. But it was part of a good deal, so I thought why not give it a chance..? I didn't even know what color to buy (never had bought powder from BH before), so it was a guess. I opted for the #250 shade and boy oh boy...
I am glad with my choice! It covers the uneven parts of my skin really well and controls the shine of my oily skin for a fair amount of time before I have to retouch my T-zone. The color is also a good match with my skin tone.
All by all, a good choice!March 19, 2016Happy customerI got exactly what I paid for and Everything came on time! I will not be spending money on mac products anymore.April 19, 2017Colors Match WellAs someone who has ok, slightly acne ridden but oily skin, I've always wished to have a more natural looking and lighter weight foundation that was in powder form versus a liquid. I've tried bare minerals which was a horrible experience seeing that it melted off my face in a matter of 4 hours...but THIS. This product was a gamble but it has totally changed my mind about powders. I am able to wear this powder as a medium coverage foundation ALL DAY with little or negligible shine. The powders are darker in person than the online images but I purchased 230 which is a light to medium color. For reference I am MAC NW20. Using a dense brush you can sweep this all over the face for great coverage. Not patchy, not dry not cakey. Do use a primer first and use any concealing products UNDER powder not over.
The price is amazing I'm repurchasing for sure. Only con is that the powder does seem to release a lot of product in the compact when used with a dense brush. So when getting product on the brush tap lightly don't swirl.
Fantastic!!January 17, 2016I purchased the lightest colorI purchased the lightest color even though I'm a light to Med olive tone . It worked great . The powder doesn't make you look to powdery if that makes sense , covers great , kept shine / oiliness at bay almost 6 hours , feels lightweight . A great buy and product . I think I will order the 2nd to lightest shade for summer . Thanks BH for yet another great product .April 27, 2016Good setting powder!Great setting powder and a decent alternative to MAC's Studio Fix powder.July 17, 2017Purchased

Browse 56 questions Browse 56 questions and 13 answersI'm darkskin and I'm wondering if you guys would recommend color 255 for me?BEST ANSWER: I'm NC50 (fall, winter, spring) and I rock 250 it has a goldish beige /warm undertone. During the summer I tend to wear 255 with my NW45 summer tan and it has a reddish cocoa/cool undertone.
HTHDoes this have spf?BEST ANSWER: Hey BH Beauty,
Our Studio Pro Matte Finish Pressed Powder does not have SPF.
BH TeamIm nc47.. what shade would you guys recommend?BEST ANSWER: I am a NC42 and I wear the shade 235. I can also use 240, both shades work well with my skin color and undertone. Since you are a couple shades darker, I would recommend trying out shades 240 or 250. Since this powder blends into the skin very well, I think you could get away with wearing a couple different shades. I don't think you would need an exact match (just a shade within your skin tone lighter or darker should work). Hope this helps.............is it good enough to use for foundation?BEST ANSWER: Yes works well as a light coverage foundation!Which is closest to MAC NC44?BEST ANSWER: I would say 240does it transfer?BEST ANSWER: Nope, use the little pad in the case or even a brush, it works great either way.Im nw20 in mac what shade would i be in the studio matte powder?BEST ANSWER: 205I'm interested in a translucent powder.
