This verifies The Company will not conduct or commission any animal tests on ingredients, formulations, or finished products and that they pledge not to do so in the future.
LEAPING BUNNY CERTIFICATION
This means The Company does not and shall not conduct, commission, or be a party to animal testing of any cosmetic and/or household products including, without limitation, formulations and ingredients of such products.
We also require that all of our manufacturers provide certification ensuring no animal testing was done and that no animal byproducts were used!

SAFETY FIRST
From palettes to brush sets to highlighters - each product is assessed for safety by reviewing hazard, exposure, and risk level of each ingredient based on the product’s intended use. Our products and ingredients conform to cosmetic regulations set forth by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations), and EU Commission (Regulation No. 1223/2009). Each one of our products goes through a minimum of 3 months testing and all our incoming shipments are reviewed by the FDA.
Some of the more specific tests we conduct include:
- Preservative efficacy testing (PET) to ensure all our preservative levels are effective against bacteria
- Repeat insole patch test (RIPT) for skin irritation
- Ocular testing to test the safety of the product to be used in the eye area
- Heavy metal testing to ensure that no heavy metals were used
